Our service includes short-term jobs as well as longer-term positions
and internships. All students who are matriculated at an institution in
the Freiburg higher education region may use the service free of charge.
After they have filled out the registration form they receive a „Job ID“
which they should bring along each time they come to the Job Service.

Please stop by within one day of having submitted your personal data to
the Job Service and bring the following documents with you:

German Citizens:
-current Student ID and Personal Identity Card

Foreign Students from EU countries:
- current Student ID and Personal Identity Card
- if necessary your residence permit or „Freizügigkeitsbescheinigung“

Foreign Students from non-EU countries:
- current Student ID and passport with valid residence permit and work
permit. After expiration of the residence permit please present your
passport again with the extension (if necessary please also present your
residence permit again).

When you have taken care of all the formalities you will receive a „Job
ID“ which is valid for one semester. An extension is possible if you
present your current student ID at the beginning of each semester.

When choosing a job offer, please read carefully the job descriptions. Do not apply for jobs you are not qualified for. Please only apply for suitable jobs and note the requirements of the employer - you save yourself and us unnecessary work and problems.
